Each month's concert is an hour in length and includes 12-15 different songs as well as relevant information about the different styles, composers, original performers, interesting facts about the songs, and etc. Most of the music selections will be easily recognizable for older listeners, although I do like to incorporate some modern selections to give a balance between familiar and new sounds. At the end of a concert I do allow song requests if there is available time and I am able to accommodate that specific request. If I don’t know a particular song, I try to offer one I know that is by that same performer/composer. I primarily use a live keyboard with occasional pre-recorded accompaniment. Other instruments that are used occasionally are harp, ukulele, guitar, penny whistle, flute, and fiddle.
